How To Replace The Tire Of Forklift

Generally speaking, the life span of normal forklift tires is 4 or 5 years, because the rubber in the tread will age over time. After 5 years, it should be replaced even if the wear of the tread is very small. Many small cracks are the cause of tire blowouts. Moreover, with daily use, the working performance of the electric forklift tires will decrease. At this time, the forklift tires need to be replaced to avoid forklift tire blowouts. So how should you replace forklift tires? Today I will introduce to you how to replace the tires of electric forklifts:

1. Park the electric forklift on a flat, hard road, turn off the power, and leave the electric forklift in an unloaded state.
2. Lower the forks of the electric forklift to the ground and use the parking brake device to stop the wheels. If the driving tires are replaced, support the jack on the front side of the mast. If the steering tires are replaced, support the jack on the rear of the rear axle at middle of the bracket.
3. Use a jack to slightly jack up the electric forklift so that the tires are still in contact with the ground; first unscrew the bolts fixing on the inflatable tube, remove the clamps, and then loosen the hub nuts.
4. Use a jack to completely support the electric forklift, unscrew the hub nut, and remove the tire.

5. The installation sequence is opposite to the disassembly sequence. When installing the hub nut, the tightening torque must reach the specified value.
